At the beginning of the recent Huron School Board meeting Chairman Garret Bischoff announced that 2 positions were open for the election to be held April 9th. The seats currently occupied by Kristi Glanzer and Tim Van Berkum they were given the opportunity to announce their intentions for the election. Glanzer was first to comment.
The first day to submit petitions for the board is Friday January 26th. Business manager Kelly Christopherson re-capped last years costs for the drivers ed program and recommended as increase in the program cost this year.
Board member Shelley Siemonsma commented on the recommended program increase.
The increase was approved on a unanimous vote.
