The city of Wessington wants to keep their public swimming pool open.
A Go Fund Me page has been set-up with a goal of $10,000.
The pool was built in the 1970s and is in need of major repairs to be cost efficient for the city to continue to operate.
The fundraising site reads: “The community of Wessington is a very small rural town that prides itself as being able to offer a safe enjoyable place for children and families to enjoy the heat of the summer sun. Please help save the Wessington pool.”
