Update: Student in Custody in Connection with Safety Threat

Huron Superintendent Terry Nebelsick reports that school resource officer Nate Benjamin and Huron Police Chief Denny Meyer say they have identified the student who wrote the graffiti that prompted safety concerns at Huron High School.

Nebelsick says the juvenile is in custody and has admitted to writing the graffiti. He is confident that this is the student responsible.

Despite this new development, Nebelsick says the school district will take the same precautions originally planned for tomorrow, including a police presence at Huron schools.
