Huron School District Reacts to Safety Threat

Huron Superintendent of Schools Terry Nebelsick says the district is working with the Huron Police Department to address a safety threat at Huron High School.

Nebelsick provides a timeline and describes the nature of the threat.

Nebelsick says the school is taking additional precautions to ensure the safety of students and staff.

A police patrol will also be assigned to each school building tomorrow.

In a situation such as this, Nebelsick says it is important to support parents who may decide not to send students back to school tomorrow.

Nebelsick urges anyone with information about this threat to contact the Huron Police Department at (650)353-8550.
