Santel Telephone reports an outage in the Mitchell area.
The Mitchell Department of Public Safety sent out the following notice on Nixle about 4:10 p.m.
- Santel Telephone is currently experiencing a weather related intermittent phone outage for customers in Davison, Hanson and Hutchinson Counties. Customers in these areas may be unable to dial 911 from a landline phone. In the event of an emergency, please dial 911 from a cellular device. Duration of this event is unknown.
In an emergency, the MDPS says to dial 911 from a cellular phone. The non-emergency telephone number for Mitchell Dispatch is 605-995-8400.
