Lower Student Numbers May Lead to Changes at Universities

Lower student numbers across the university system may lead to changes this fall.
South Dakota State University President Barry Dunn says they hope to hang onto to all of their academic programs.

Dunn says in response they made some major changes to their student recruitment efforts.

More students are taking university courses online. Dunn says they hope to work more of that into their on campus experience.

The Board of Regents reported fall enrollment down about two percent, with Dakota State the only school with a significant increase of about two and a half percent.
