This is National Fire Prevention week. The Huron Fire Department was at area schools Wednesday talking about fire prevention as we hear from Colt Florey with the Huron Fire Department.
Florey said its important to reach younger students regarding fire prevention.
Florey said the week reminds us to check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
National Fire Prevention week runs through Saturday October 14th.
