Community Members Invited to Share Opinion on Health Care Services

Huron, S.d. – Huron Regional Medical Center is requesting feedback from community members to help hospital leadership understand how to better serve the health needs of residents in Huron and Beadle County.

This survey project is being conducted by an independent research consultant, Dr. Jennifer Anderson, a Ph.D. and professor at South Dakota State University, who is not affiliated with HRMC.  The survey asks community members to share their knowledge of and thoughts about the services provided by the HRMC system of care.

Dr. Anderson will be in Huron this weekend, March 4-6 at various locations, including Coborn’s and Fair City Foods, asking shoppers to take a few minutes to share their opinion. Participants will receive a $5 gift card as a small token of appreciation for your time. She will also be hosting small group discussions to learn even more about community perceptions. If you are interested in being part of a discussion group, please contact Dr. Anderson directly at [email protected].

The survey is also available online at www.huronregional.org/survey. For non-English speakers, it is available in Spanish and Karen. The data collection and survey will close Monday, March 7. HRMC appreciates everyone who takes the time to share your opinions and perceptions.
