Police are looking for a suspect responsible for a robbery early Thursday morning.
At about 12:20 AM, an employee of the West Park Truck Stop (Corner Pantry #25) was robbed by a male wearing a maroon hoodie, red bandanna, sunglasses, and gloves. The thief demanded the store’s cash from the employee and pointed an unknown object at her that was in the pocket of his hoodie. The suspect put the cash from the drawer in a bag and ran out of the store. The thief dropped some money outside in the parking lot as he ran away.
The Huron Police Department is asking that anyone with any information regarding this incident please come forward. DO NOT to attempt to confront the suspect yourself. This individual could be armed with a weapon and should be considered dangerous.
