Huron Democrat Tyler Volseky has announced his candidacy for the state legislature from District 22.
Volesky will run for state representative in next year’s election.
District 22 includes all of Beadle and Kingsbury counties.
Volesky, 26, is 2014 graduate of Dakota Wesleyan University, where received the George McGovern Center for Public Service and Leadership Award.
Volesky is currently a legal assistant and does substitute teaching and coaches youth athletics in the Huron school system.
