The United Way Heartland Region is looking for projects for the upcoming Day of Caring.
Organizations with painting, landscaping and other projects can contact the United Way Heartland Region at 352-3537.
Executive director Rhonda Kludt says each year between 350-420 volunteers takes part in approximately 20 local projects. Kludt says workers try to return later to complete projects that can’t be finished in one day as “every day is a day of caring”.
The 11th annual Day of Caring will be August 14th.
