Ty Tuff Goat Tying Challenge Coming to the SD State Fair

For the first time, the Ty Tuff Goat Tying Challenge is coming to the South Dakota State Fair on Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, in the North Arena with $3,000 added money.

In the past, the Ty Tuff Challenge has only been hosted in North Dakota and referred to as the “World’s Richest Goat Tying” due to its massive entry numbers and added money.

This will be the first time the Challenge has been in South Dakota.

“When we have the opportunity, we always try to bring in something new, so we were excited to work with Ty Tuff organizers to bring this event to the fair,” commented Peggy
Besch, State Fair manager.

The Ty Tuff Challenge entries are due Aug. 19, with late entries accepted until Aug. 26.

For additional information and entry forms, visit the www.tytuff.com or the Ty Tuff Challenge Facebook Page.

Other performance events include the SD Stock Dog Association Stock Dog Trials, Team Penning, Team Sorting, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Ranch Rodeo and the SD Timed
Event Championship Rodeo. For more information on any of the events, go to www.sdstatefair.com or call the State Fair Office at 605.353.7340.
