The 2017 South Dakota State Fair officially gets underway today on the Fairgrounds.
Today is Value Added Ag Day at the Fair.
All veterans and active military members receive free gate admission. 4-H youth also receive free gate admission by showing their 4-H card.
U.S. Senator Mike Rounds will present the American Hero Award at the Red Wilk Construction CBR Bull Bash. This award will be presented to seven Vietnam-era veterans. The Bull Bash gets underway tonight at 8pm in the Grandstand.
