When the snow melts and the rain falls gaining access to the Nordby Exhibit Hall in Huron can be challenging.
Assistant State Fair manager Candi Briley, says a new concrete pad at the south of the hall should make things easier.
Last year, improvements were made to the parking area on the west side of the building.
In addition to the work being done at the Nordby Exhibit Hall, the fairgrounds is a hive of activity in advance of the 2019 South Dakota State Fair. The fair begins it’s five day run on Thursday, August 29th. Channel Seeds preview night will be Wednesday, Aug. 28th.
