Two people were killed and three others have serious non-life threatening injuries after a Sunday night crash, according to Tony Mangan, spokesman with the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
The preliminary report indicates that a two vehicle crash happened near Tulare, according to Mangan. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating.
While the identity of the two fatalities has yet to be released, a public post on the Ipswich Public School Facebook page announced a late start and the presence of clergy and counselors.
More information on the crash is expected later today.
