A sign of the times with vaping devices that arrived on scene several years ago. Those devices are occasionally making their way onto the Huron School district busses. Transportation director with the Huron School District Kathy Bostrom said they have had occasional instances of students vaping on busses.
Kathy said with the responsibilities of the bus driver it is hard to detect instances of vaping.
Bostrom said part of the follow up is to contact parents but determining where kids are acquiring the product falls on law enforcement.
Kathy said certain times of the year affect the incidence of bus vaping.
