There was a slight decline in revenue at the Huron Event Center in 2018.
Brenda Jager presented the Huron Event Center’s semi-annual report at last night’s city commission meeting.
Jager says the decrease is due in part to the lack of service club business.
Alcohol sales were also down.
Jager updated commissioners on the condition of tile and carpet at the event center.
9 weddings are booked at the Huron Event Center for 2019, compared to 14 in 2018. Jager says the venue has been awarded 5 conventions.
