Huron Among Highest Snowfall Totals in the State

The blizzard warning for central South Dakota has been downgraded to a winter weather advisory, which is in effect until 1 pm today (Fri.).

Meteorologist Megan Mulford says while still 20 mph-plus, the winds have gone down. She says the storm dumped 23 inches of snow on the Huron area.

With most of the state already saturated from higher than normal snowfall all winter, Mulford says melting from this snow may cause temporary flooding issues again in some areas.
