South Dakota State University’s Jacey Hupp won the first go in goat tying yesterday at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. Hupp is a 2015 graduate of Huron High School and posted a 6.1 in the 1st go. Hupp finished 3rd overall last year. Janey Reeves from the University of Idaho was 2nd at 6.2, and there was a 4 way tie for third at 6.3. Second go will be this afternoon, 3rd go is Thursday night, and the top 12 will compete in the short go Saturday night. The College National Finals Rodeo runs this week and wraps up Saturday night
