Over the weekend election fora was held at the Fine arts center for the Huron City Commission candidates and Huron School Board candidates. Today we look at the school board candidates as we hear opening comments from incumbent and chairman Tim Van Berkum.

Kristi Glanzer was appointed to the school board after David Wheeler went to the South Dakota district 22 senate seat. She talks about her experiences on the school board.
A question was asked of all three candidates of what they thought their role would be on the Huron School Board, and the response from Tim Van Berkum.

The municipal and school board election is Tuesday April 13th with voting at the Huron Arena. There are two positions open on the school board with candidates Tim Van Berkum, Kristi Glanzer and Rex Sawvell. For the Huron City Commission there is open seat open it would be a new position for any of the three candidates Drew Weinreis, Bridget Carr and Sarah Rogers.
