CITY COMMISSION REVIEWS FACIAL COVERING RESOLUTION

The Huron City Commission met Monday 12/21/2020 at their weekly session.  One of the main items on the agenda was a 30 day review of the Huron mask resolution.  Huron Mayor Gary Harrington highlights the Coronavirus impact in Huron since the resolution was approved.

Despite the commission covering what the differences were between a resolution and an ordinance when the measure was passed on November 16th.  Commissioner Doug Kludt tried to clarify the confusion brought to the attention of the commission.

Commissioner Rich Bragg said he has noticed a change in the mask wearing in the city of Huron.  He said he felt businesses appreciated it when the commission approved the resolution in November.

The resolution with be reviewed next on February 1st at the commission meeting.
