The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a payment request for water main replacement and consider a noise permit filed by Scot Marone for a private backyard party, prior to the start of the Wheel Jam vehicle Expo at the South Dakota State Fair. The Commission will consider the annual contract with the Huron Country Club and will consider authorizing the City Engineer to submit an application for a well permit. The first reading of an ordinance is tonight. The ordinance relates to Tax Incremental Districts. If approved, a second reading would be held April 11th. Commissioners will consider accepting the retirement notice of City Building Inspector Roger Bell and advertising the position and information on a city wide clean up will also be announced. There are no scheduled work or executive sessions for the Huron City Commission. The Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
