The city has approved a construction change order for the Third Street Dam improvements.
Due to adverse weather, flooding, and site conditions Olsen Construction has requested the substantial completion date be extended until June 1, 2019. This will allow for high
waters to reside and site conditions to improve.
In other business, the commission approved:
A special event on-sale alcoholic beverage license requested by Huron Little League for the annual Canaries baseball game on May 5, 2019 at Memorial Ball Park.
A payment request by Hydro-Klean LLC for sanitary sewer main lining in the amount of $16,811.36.
The appointment of Darrell Raschke to the Planning Commission to fill Roger Bell’s unexpired term which will expire June 1, 2021 and the appointment of Pat Hemen to the Planning Commission for a 5‐year term to expire June 1, 2024.
