The Huron City and Huron school board combined election totaled 1069 voters absentee and at the lone poling location, the Huron Arena. In the city commission race the one seat being filled will be by Drew Weinreis with 376 votes, Sarah Rogers vote total was 356 with Bridget Carr taking 227 votes. In the school board election the two incumbents return to the board. Kristi Glanzer had a vote total of 770, Tim Van berkum had 596 and Rex Sawvell garnered 479.
