Changes Save City Over $37,000 on Public Works Building

Commissioners approved a change order that will reduce the cost of Huron’s new Public Works Building. These were changes proposed by the contractor Kyburz-Carlson Construction.

Also last night, the city approved the purchase of a new software program for Park and Rec/Splash Central. The old software has become obsolete and must be replaced. The total cost is $13,230. $4050 in the budget will pay the annual maintenance fee, with the remaining $9,180 coming from unused 2nd penny sale tax funds.
