CAP Co2 SOLUTIONS WORKING ON ALTERNATE PLAN FOR USE OF LIQUID Co2 – part one

The debate concerning liquid carbon pipelines has been active since for a couple years.  The discussion early on featured two prospective plans.  Navigator Co2 Venture from Texas and Summit Carbon Solutions from Iowa.  Summit remains as a current proposed plan.  SB 201 passed the SD Senate and is now working through the House side.  With all of the landowner property rights as part of the discussion what if other options were possible?  CAPCO2 Solutions has been taking steps to make a viable option part of the solution.  DR Jeff Bonar CEO with CAPCO2 solutions discussed the core issue, liquid Co2.

Proponents have said the liquid Co2 will be sequestered or hidden away in North Dakota what the proponents are not saying is that the sequestering of the liquid Co2 will have a secondary purpose.

With state leaders coming together on a plan to allow the pipelines through portions of South Dakota to North Dakota.  Bonar said all of the information regarding the pipelines may not have been addressed.

Dr Jeff Bonar will discuss more of their project on the second part of the feature on Huron Radio News.
