PREMIER BANKCARD TO ADD NEW JOBS AT HURON CALL CENTER

The continued uncertainty of a global pandemic is not stopping Premier Bankcard from and expanding and adding new jobs in Huron.  Premier is hiring up to 40 people to staff a new customer service team at its facility in the Huron Mall.  Miles Beacom Premier Bankcard CEO talks about the thoughts behind the Huron expansion.

Premier Bankcard and its sister organization Premier Bank are considered on of the countries top performing banks.  It credits its success to ongoing commitment taking care of its employees, customers and communities that it serves.  Miles talks about how they are involved in the communities that they are in.

Beacom added that when Covid hit supporting their communities became critical for the Premier team.  T Denny Sanford gifted $75,000 to the relief fund in the Huron area.  Premier upheld $20,000 in sponsorships to local non profits and upheld those pledges even if the event was cancelled.  Premier Bankcard President Matt Krall praised the workforce at Premier in Huron and said the contribution to community projects come from where the employees passions are focused.

Premier location in Huron has been in place for 13 years.  They are headquartered in Sioux FAlls and has additional centers in Watertown and Dakota Dunes.  The location at the Huron Mall completed a one million dollars renovation to set up for long term growth.  Beacom talks about the upgrade.

While many banks and credit card companies look to expand to new areas including overseas, Krall said Premier is committed to keeping their workforce in South Dakota.
