State Launches New Emergency Information Website

The state of South Dakota has launched a new resource dedicated to keeping the public informed during emergencies. Governor Dennis Daugaard says it’s called SDResponse.gov.

He says citizens will have information in one location and utilize it to protect themselves and their property.

SDResponse.gov houses material from multiple state agencies and outside response entities. The website currently includes information on drought, fire and winter weather, and the tabs will rotate depending upon the season and what’s occurring in the state.
