State Senator Billie Sutton of Burke is now turning his full attention to his run for the democratic nomination for Governor.
He says he has shown how a democrat can win elections in South Dakota
Sutton says he wants to focus more on issues and policy than politics
Sutton says he has seen more partisan tactics in the last few years in the legislature
Sutton does not have a primary opponent. Republicans will choose between Congresswoman Kristi Noem, and Attorney General Marty Jackley in the June fifth primary.
