The possibility of another round of winter weather is affecting travel plans for the state tournament in Rapid City.
Superintendent Terry Nebelsick says the plan is for the Huron Tiger boy’s basketball team and the cheerleaders will be leaving early.
Nebelsick says he plans to leave for Rapid on Wednesday morning. Currently, most of the state, including the Huron area is included in a winter storm watch. Forecasters say 3-7 inches of snow are possible across the watch area, along with the potential for ice and high winds.
