After a week of voting the results are in on the latest Performance Radio News Poll on Facebook. The District 22 Mock Election allowed voters to vote for the one candidate of their choosing in the House or Senate race. The vote totals were adjusted to remove, underage and voters who are not from District 22, and would not be able to vote in the actual election today. After adjusted numbers Republican Jim White beats Chris Studer by three votes. 26 to 23. On the House side Dick Werner is the top voter with eight votes. Peggy Gibson ended up second with five votes followed by Dale Hargens with three and Jay Slater with two. Are the mock election results a preview of what we could see tonight? Will the real election be as close as the mock election? Hopefully more than 61 people will head to the polls today for real. Polls are open from now until 7 PM tonight. Also up on the ballot today are seven ballot measures, the U-S House race, Two Public Utilites Commission spots and of course, President of the United States. Join us for election coverage tonight on Peformance Radio, where well keep and eye on District 20, which includes Jerauld County, District 23, which includes all of Hand and the Southwest corner of Spink County.
