WHAT WE DO MATTERS PART 4 -DR JOE CARR

This week during local news we are looking at vaccinations in Beadle and Sanborn counties. Monday May 24th has been designated as the sunset day for the City of Huron Covid 19 resolution that recommends masks with government controlled buildings and other businesses requiring them, limits businesses to occupancy with other guidelines for public health. The Beadle county covid 19 unified task force is still working for 75-85 percent vaccinations. Many people choose to not receive the vaccines for a variety of reasons including last months pause of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Dr Joe Carr with the task force said people are open to decide for themselves.

Pfizer has announced that 12-15 year olds will be cleared for vaccinations later this month. Carr said the younger age groups will be offered the vaccine soon.

From Pfizer and Moderna to Johnson and Johnson, all of the vaccines have had reactions and deaths. Since the start of vaccinations December 4 through May 10 over 259 million doses of vaccines were given . With 4434 deaths reported following the vaccine. Which is 17 thousands of a percent. Carr talks about what research has shown from reactions.

He said with the reactions that have occurred there could be specific reasons for a portion of them.

We will wrap up our series What we do matters, tomorrow on Performance Radio news.
