WOLSEY, S.D. (AP) – A 24-year-old man was killed after the pickup truck he was driving rolled and he was ejected from the vehicle. The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the one-vehicle crash happened at about 2:15 a.m. on Saturday just west of Wolsey.
Authorities say Nicholas Hanks of Wessington lost control of the 2003 Ford Ranger he was driving. It left the road, and he was thrown from the vehicle. Officials say Hanks wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
