TURTON, S.D. (AP) – Six people were taken to a hospital after a weekend crash in northeastern South Dakota involving a sport utility vehicle and an open-cab tractor. The Highway Patrol says the people involved suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. The Saturday crash happened when the driver of the tractor tried to turn into a private driveway near Turton and didn’t see the SUV. The tractor driver and the five people in the SUV all were hurt. The people in the SUV were all from Redfield.
