A Watertown man injured in a confrontation outside the Southfork Lounge has died of his injuries.
Codington County Sheriff Brad Howell confirms in an e-mail with KWAT News that 40 year old Jeremy Buol died of his injuries on Wednesday.
He was initially taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital and then was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with brain injuries.
An arrest has been made in this case. Twenty eight year-old Jason Ralph Endres of Watertown was charged with simple assault after police were called to the scene at 1:12 a.m. Sunday.
Howell says an autopsy will be performed as part of an active investigation. He says it’s possible that amended charges could be filed in this case.
