A Watertown man is dead following a rollover crash north of Miller. Forty-five year old Dale Steward rolled his 1995 Chevy Blazer Monday eight miles north of Miller on Highway 45 around 5:45 AM. Steward was traveling south on Highway 45 when he come upon a vehicle stopped in the road after it had struck a deer. Steward went into the west ditch as he tried to get around the stopped car. The S-U-V rolled as Steward attempted to return to the road surface. He was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash with the Hand County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting on scene were the Hand County Ambulance and Miller Fire Department
