Members have now been named to the newly formed “River Basin Natural Resource District Oversight Advisory Task Force.” The group was formed by the passage of major legislation by this year’s South Dakota legislature that changes the way water drainage will be managed.
One of the members of the task force is Senator Jason Frerichs of Wilmot. He was the main sponsor and driving force behind the changes. He says this group will begin their process when the law takes effect on July first…
