HURON, S.D. – April 23, 2020 – The Beadle County Unified Task Force has been working to keep the public informed on the latest issues we all are facing with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Beadle County.

On Friday, April 24, 2020, at 1:00pm the Beadle County Unified Task Force will hold a community briefing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and provide Beadle County residents with updated information from various organizations from around the community. The briefing will provide an update about changes at HRMC, including the addition of the Abott rapid point-of-care COVID-19 testing machine, information about Beadle County statistics and flattening of the curve, the survey results conducted by Greater Huron Development and the Huron Chamber, update from the Beadle County testing facility and call center and resources for food and essential needs, along with ways to donate.

We are going to stream the video live on the City of Huron’s YouTube Channel. We encourage to subscribe to the “Huron, SD” YouTube page. The YouTube link will be posted on the “Beadle County Covid-19” Facebook page, before the event. Performance Radio will also air the community brief. The video will also be available on Cable Channel 6, after the press conference.
