Two Men Held in Beadle County in Connection with Watertown Stabbing Death

Two men were arrested in Huron Tuesday in connection with the ongoing investigation into the stabbing death of a Watertown man Monday night.

Johnny Martin Koenig Jr. and Andres Ramon Morena, both 19,  are in custody in the Beadle County jail.

Both Koenig and Morena are being held on warrants for Accessory to Crime and Aggravated Assault stemming from the stabbing investigation.

Koenig is also being held on unrelated Codington County Warrants for Possession of Controlled Substance, Distribution of drugs in school zone and possession of marijuana. 

Jeremy Steinberg age 38 of Watertown, was arrested without incident Tuesday morning in Watertown.

He has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault in the alleged stabbing death of 28 year old Kristopher Spotts,

 Steinberg is currently being held at the Codington County Detention Center on a $750,000.00 bond.
