Huron police arrested two men on multiple drug charges early Monday morning. A vehicle driven by 21-year-old Eric Virrueta was stopped for a traffic violation around three-A-M. Virrueta and 18-year-old Jeffery Pomerico were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, ingesting a substance to become intoxicated, and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony. Virrueta is also charged with driving under the influence. Both men had court appearances Monday morning and have been released on bond. The next court appearances for the two are scheduled for December 11th.
