A line of severe storms marched across Eastern SD yesterday evening bringing rain, hail, high winds and at least three confirmed tornadoes.
Tornado warnings were issued at various times for Beadle County, including Huron, as well as Davison, Hand, Jerauld, Sanborn and Spink counties.
The only confirmed touch down in our area was near the community of Zell in Hand County, where property damage and downed trees were reported.
In Huron, high winds brought down tree limbs and caused minor property damage. Hail and heavy rains were also associated with the storm. 71 hundredths of an inch of rain were reported at the airport and around 84 hundredth were recorded at the Performance Radio studios.
No injuries were reported as a result of yesterday evenings storms.
