Beadle County Emergency Manager Tom Moeding says the residents of a home in southern Beadle County were in the basement of their home as the twister passed. Crews from Dakota Energy Cooperative and Northwestern Energy worked early Friday morning to repair one broken pole and a mile and a half of downed power lines along South Dakota Highway 37, south of Huron.  The highway was down to one lane of traffic for a short time after the storm due to debris on the road surface. In Miner County, Emergency Management Director Bob Calmus says there was no reports of damage beyond downed power lines. The National Weather Service record six hail reports and four tornado reports. Storm Survey teams will assess the damage and assign EF ratings for the tornadoes later today.
