Banks says the agreement was extended to a two year agreement at the request of Top Floor Events. According to the agreement Top Floor has no intentions of operating a restaurant out of the Huron Event Center, simply providing meals and beverage service for meetings, gatherings and events like wedding receptions. Officials with the Huron Event Center were at the earlier special meeting but were not present at the regularly scheduled Commission meeting.
