Tomorrow morning about 165 Soldiers of the South Dakota Army National Guard’s 153rd Engineer Battalion and its Forward Support Company will return from a 10-month deployment to the Middle East.
The soldiers will land at Huron Regional Airport Saturday morning at approximately 10:45 AM. They will travel from the airport to the Huron Arena for the Welcome Home ceremony. The public is asked to line the route from the airport to the Arena, Dakota Avenue to Fifth Street, to welcome the Battalion back home. The ceremony will begin at 11:30 AM.
U.S. Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds will speak at tomorrow’s ceremony.
