Huron police have arrested a juvenile male in connection to an attempted robbery last week in north Huron. Sergeant Brandon Neitzert with the Huron Police Department says the 17-year-old was arrested and charged with first degree petty theft. When the story broke on Tuesday of last week, police had only a brief suspect description and a vehicle description. Police also requested the public be on the look out for the dark blue Dodge Dakota pick-up with sliding rear window and ground effects kit, that made the truck appear very low to the ground. Neitzert says it was a tip from someone in the community seeing the pick-up that ultimately led to the arrest. Police are still withholding the name of the business that was impacted by the attempted robbery at the businesses request. Other details are still being withheld as the investigation into the attempted robbery continues.
