Huron Tiger boys basketball will play in the Hoop City Classic for the first time this December.
Huron will play Cornerstone Christian Academy of McKinney, Texas, Saturday, December 28, at 9:30pm at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls.
Huron head coach Jon Schouten says Huron has had interest in the event in the past, and this year the schedule worked out.
Cornerstone is lead by 6 foot 9 Jerrell Colbert, who is the 22nd ranked junior in the nation by Rivals.com. Schouten says his guys are looking forward to the challenge.
The Hoop City began nine years ago, and has expanded to a 29 game, two day event.
