This past Monday the Huron City Commission approved a Park and Recreation Board recommendation for an annual tradition, Thursday night in the Park entertainment at the band shell at Campbell Park. Parks and Recreation director LaRon Klock said having a public event for people to attend is a good step forward.
The first Thursday night in the Park is this evening. Klock said Campbell park will be ready to go.
Signage will be in place to remind visitors of social distancing guidelines and ask users to maintain the cleanliness of restroom facility and keep yourself safe and sanitized. Restroom facilities at Central park, Winter park tennis courts, Ravine Lake and Memorial park walking trail bathroom were opened earlier and are cleaned twice daily with added signage reminders in place.
