Waste tires are being collected from Huron and towns across Beadle County. Tires on rims must be separated from tires not on rims and all debris should be removed from the tires before dropping them off. Tires can be taken to the City of Huron Transfer Station. The collection will continue until September 15th or when the 76-thousand dollars left from a state grant is used up.
