State Senate Minority Leader Billie Sutton will speak at the District 22 Democratic Forum on Thursday August 3. The forum will be held at Noon at the Huron Events Center.
Sutton is a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Governor in 2018. He will also be the guest at a “Meet and Greet” session to be held at the Huron Country Club from 5 to 7 PM.
A four-term legislator, Sutton grew up on a ranch near Burke, SD. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business finance. He was also a champion rodeo rider until 2007 when he was paralyzed in freak accident at a rodeo in Minot, SD.
