Authorities have arrested a suspect in Sunday night’s armed robbery at Auto Zone. The Mitchell Police Department says 33 year old Caleb Robert Babb of Sioux City, Iowa is in custody. He’s charged with 1st degree robbery.
Sioux City radio station KSCJ reports that Police in Sioux City arrested Babb Wednesday. He’s also a suspect in two armed robberies in Sioux City on March 5th and July 17th of separate auto parts stores. He’s facing two armed robbery counts from those incidents. He’s currently in the Woodbury, Iowa County Jail. Bond is set at $50,000.
The Mitchell Police Department, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, the Sioux City Police Department and FBI assisted in the investigation.
